  4. Adjustable Email Notifications for only mentions or only direct messages

    Currently Email Notifications are sent out on either a mention or a direct message. Our users asked for the feature to decide weather to have notifications only for mentions, only for DMs or for both.

  5. CMD/CTRL+K should allow to switch to conversation from other team

    When you are part of two or more team and you have unread channel in another team you've currently selected, you can not switch to it with CMD/CTRL+K. Since there is no keyboard shortcut to switch team (already discussed in various place), this would be nice to display the conversation from the other team in the conversation selection popup!

    It would be great if I can enable the option to show the entire message in notifications. Currently only the beginning of the message is passed to notification system.

    As of now, mattermost custom integration plugin is available to all users on Team edition. It will be good if there is a restriction like "personal access token" can be enabled for particular users.

    When pasted into chat, render percent-encoded URLs into readable characters.

  11. Provide a "Mark read" choice in mobile push notifications

    A "Mark read" choice in push notifications about new messages, as seen in many IM apps, would be handy in Mattermost Mobile too. Currently the message can only be marked read by tapping the message to open the app (which is slow).

  12. Add per-channel email notification controls

    Similar to per-channel desktop notification controls, I'd like the option to disable email notifications on a per channel basis. A good use case for this is our Git repo web hook: I don't need an email telling me I pushed commits to the repository (currently the author name generates a mention notification).

  14. Try to use less CPU / energy in native Mac App

    Right now the Mattermost native Mac app is using a lot of CPU, pretty consistently over 10%, which seems really high for an app of this type. What could it possibly be doing to use that much CPU? The energy impact is almost up there with known battery drainers like Chrome and Firefox. I know it's a beta, so please consider this some beta-user feedback. Thanks!

  16. Linux desktop app: start hidden in tray without creating window itself

    Instead of creating the application and minimizing it application start must be done without creating window itself.

  17. Ability to receive notifications for muted channel

    I would like to configure a channel to receive mobile/desktop app notifications when I am mentioned, but no badge on a channel/app icon when I am not mentioned.

  18. Desktop app: "Copy image" on images shown in channels

    Provide a "copy image" option that copies an image shown in a channel. In comparison, in the web app the "Copy image" is also available, as it is part of the standard Chrome menu for images.

  19. Automatically join consecutive messages from the same person

    For threading purposes it'd be great if consecutive messages from the same person (maybe within some time window like 10 minutes) would be counted as a single message.

    We use mattermost for an internal support chat and very often we get stuff like

    "Hi!"
    "I have this issue with the fronk, for customer Acme"
    <screenshot>
    "Could someone take a look?"

    You can't reply to any of those messages without losing crucial information in the thread.

  20. PivotalTracker Integration

    as a Project Manager/ Product Owner we need integration with Pivotal Tracker Project Management tool as follows, If Possible

    • At certain time in the morning, developer get lists of task ID, task type (feature, bug, chore), person who write task, and summaries description about task were assigned to them
    • Developer can update task by fills in data like Task ID #xxxx, Status, Comment. (if Task Status equal Deliver, developer can fill Pull request / Branch)
    • Developer get notified if someone mentioned them in the Task Comment, and they can reply the comment (developer can view task ID and some description)
