Generate different public URL domain for sharing the static files with externals
Hello,
I have installed the mattermost in subdomain eg. chat.example.com. And when I generate the public URL it provides the URL from this domain.
But I don’t want to share the URL of my mattermost application with external users so how can I generate the URL from a different domain. I can set the alias of the mattermost installed domain to files.example.com but this URL should generate for all users accounts who are the members of my mattermost application.
Means on generating the public URL of files it should show the different domain instead of mattermost most installed application domain.

Dynamic documentation URL
At the moment all the documentation points to https://mattermost.com which is inaccessible from our environment (no internet access). We have mirrored your documentation to our environment and wish to link to it, instead of https://mattermost.com

Chronological message stream over all channels
Sometimes I read a message in one channel, get desturbed and get more messages in other channels. Later I want to go back to the first message, but cannot remember/find the channel anymore. In this case it would be handy to have a view of all messages from all channels in chronological order.

Allow users the choice for 2-factor authentication: Add Biometric Login
Increase the number of options the end user has to complete authentication. My thought is to use biometrics (face scan or thumb print) similar to that of banking apps then have the user choose 2 of their 3.
1) Username/Password
2) Authentication Code (MFA)

Channel Creator Info for Desktop & Web App
While the Mattermost Mobile app has the feature of tapping on the channel header to see more information that includes who created the channel and the date:
"Created by XXX on XXX XX, XXXX"
Users have to scroll all the way to the beginning of the channel for desktop and web app. This will be challenging especially for channels that have a lot of content.
It will be great if we can have similar feature for desktop and web app as well where users can click on the channel header > view info and show the same information.

Search parameter to find pinned and flagged messages
I like using the search operators to easily find a message. I would be interested to search messages which are pinned or tagged with a simple parameter, like pinned:yes . I know I can click on the Pin button to find all pinned messages, but then I can't seach for a specific text within the pinned message.
To give an example, I'd like to search all pinned messages mentioning the user tom and the word "server". I would like to type:

outlook IM
When clicking on "Send IM" in Outlook, it always opens Zoom Chat instead of MatterMost, because Zoom has an Outlook plug in for Outlook chat, but MatterMost does not.
The only Outlook plug in available on the MatterMost website is to forward emails. We desperately need a native MatterMost Outlook integration to make MatterMost the default chat/IM application when clicking that button in Outlook.

Adding Custom User Flairs to each channel
I believe the ability to add user flairs in the different mattermost channels you are a part of would be a valuable addition to the service and would allow others to see what you have or what you do.

On different chat software you can mention a channel. For example: #test. If you click on the #test, you will go to that channel. I miss this feature in the app right now so I think this will be very useful.

Add groups/teams assignment for OpenID Connect
In scenarios without LDAP there is no way to assign users to Teams as it can be done with LDAP groups. Having a way to achieve this through OpenID Connect would be a great feature.
