Team admin should be able to export datas
Right now, only mattermost instance admin can export teams but only all teams.
There is two issues:- first: we can't export one team (see this request: https://mattermost.uservoice.com/forums/306457-general/suggestions/39225376-mattermost-bulk-export-single-selected-team)
- second: it's the instance admin job to export
It would be a great improvement if team admin could use the user interface (and not has to ask to his instance admin).

Use the setAppBadge API
Show the count of unread messages/notifications as a badge in browsers that support it. Installing Mattermost as a PWA would be closer to native apps if it used the setAppBadge/clearAppBadge APIs.

How to calculate dc power with power calculator?
You need to consider why you need to know the physics of the power calculator. To deduce the total power calculator watts, it is necessary to determine the apparent power, reactive force and capacity. You should remember that the power calculator does not distinguish the delayed and leading power factors.
Read full guide here: https://wattinsider.com/how-to-calculate-solar-panel-battery/Therefore, the capacity of the power factor parallel to the device must be connected to obtain correct readings.

ui customization
I think it's necessary to have at least option like font size which can be changed by user, especially for phones whose screen is small.
Further more, if we can choose to hide the time stamp, the user name (in private chat), we would be able to focus on the messages themselves.

Make several threads in direct message with specific user
I've multiple topics in direct message threads with specific users. I need to multiplicate them and rename accordingly with the name of the topics.
Example
With user A.B. I have topics like:
- offers
- strategy
- UX
etc.I need to switch between the topics to see what we discuss in the previous discussion about that specific topic.

Emoji Delete Audit Logging
As of now, there is no audit logged in to the Audits table when an emoji gets deleted. The only way to find out about this is through the mattermost.log. For example:
{"level":"debug","ts":XXXXXXXX,"caller":"web/handlers.go:101","msg":"Received HTTP request","method":"DELETE","url":"/api/v4/emoji/<emoji_id>","requestid":"XXXXXXXX","statuscode":"200"}
It will be better to have this information logged into the Audits table for System Administrators to have the ability to trace this information.

Group Chat Organization
Generated from the original post in Mattermost Forum - https://forum.mattermost.org/t/feature-request-group-chat-organization/11429 on behalf of the user.
"The request: Please pull Group Chats/Discussions out from DIRECT MESSAGES and create a new heading like GROUP MESSAGES or something… AND, on top of that… have that list sortable (oh how would I love the Group Chat with the most recent message to be at the top).
For context, I work for a small company (< 25 employees) and we use Mattermost. Each Group Chat gets a new “entry” under DIRECT MESSAGES. At this point, it is ridiculously difficult to find the individual people, scrolling through all the Group Chat mess. Group Chat 1 has Bob and Bill. Group Chat 2 has Bob, Bill, and Mary… Group Chat 3 has Bob, Bill, Mary, Jenny, Tim, and Hank… extrapolate this out to 10 different group threads that start with the same 3 people… All of these Group Chat channels are all truncated to the same view in the left pane… and, Bill just posted a message to ONE of these group chats (which I, thankfully, had open) so I see the message… but just now Bob direct-messaged me to I scroll through the mess to find his direct channel… after that, I want to go back to what Bill said in the Group Chat… bugger… which one was it?
It’s frustrating."

Allow user registration in mobile app
With 2021 and all the discussions on online privacy and their violations thereof by the big corporations going on, Mattermost has become all the more important.
It is disheartening to see that the mobile app still does not have the ability to register users.
An open github issue: https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost-mobile/issues/2299

Anonymize and/or pseudonymize messages after given amount of time
Running a public Mattermost Team for OpenSource project communication, potential contributors raised concerns about privacy - especially having their name forever connected to the messages they write
To not have to delete messages, it would be great to have the option to remove the name from messages after some time passed, configured by each user individually. For better thread readability it might be wise to not change the author to "Anonymous" but better to some pseudonym per thread

Ability to change the order of channel groupings
There are several options now provided for changing the grouping and ordering of channels, but one is conspicuously missing IMO: the ability to change the ordering of the groupings.
In my use of MM, I have a small handful of favorite channels, and then a bunch of other channels, and then a small handful of direct messages. Most of my communication is in the favorite channels and the direct messages, but the former is at the very top and the latter is at the very bottom. It is annoying to have to scroll through the wasteland of all of my non-favorite channels every time I need to switch between the two groupings I actually use.

Schedule do not disturb
Users should have the option to set do not disturb status (or offline) based on a time schedule, or for the next X number of hours. A user would define the time DND should be active and the app would switch status during that time period. Currently users wishing to stop notifications must manually set DND status. But the user must also remember to reset the status. This allows users to define a time when they do not want to receive alerts/notifications.
