  1. Have "Unread" option showing all unread messages and notifications across all channels

    Slack has something similar that shows above all channels. It makes it easy to browse through your unread messages without having to click each channel separately.

  2. view or copy source of a message

    It would be really useful to reuse markdown messages.

    Currently, Users can see raw message only when markdown is disabled.
    And they can only copy their own messages.

  3. Add a repository for the contents of your website.

    I noticed some errors on your website, mostly typos and small improvements that could be made. It would be cool if I could just send a pull request on GitHub/Gitlab.

  4. Mobile: Show "[user] is typing..."

    Same as the web client, it's important to see this so messages don't get sent while one person is still finishing their thought.

  5. Allow Team Admins to see statistics for their Team

    Currently only System Admins can see individual team statistics information but it would be helpful to allow team admins to see their own team's statistics.

    It would be useful to indent own messages posted to channels, in addition to current shading with gray. Like in several other chat platforms do.

  8. smtp authorization support request

    for most small company, there is no ldap servier or sso. but all most have email service, self hosted or saas like google mail.
    if there is a authorization type called smtp authorization like oauth2(google,gitlab...), it will make company helpful more without make another authorization system, bothered with account management.

  12. Create a wizz button, like the old MSN chat

    Like the old school MSN chat, it will be nice to add a wizz button or slash command or something else ... ?, meaning we need you to pay more attention to our post, that could be triggered a move on the windows for desktop app, and/or a new notification message.

  15. "Remember me" checkbox when start tne application

    It's quite annoying to input username\pass every start. Actually if user clears running applications he has to input username\pass again. I assume it's already had but I couldn't find this functionality.

  16. Custom tutorial text

    Enable the setting of custom tutorial text for the three tutorial intro screens, with markdown formatting support and preview of the messages to be sent.

    As a secondary priority, enable the setting of different messages based on the preferences of the end user, defaulting to English if no message is set.

  17. Treat post selection as a reply

    It is a constant struggle to keep all relevant messages associated to a thread. People don't see the reply icon or understand its significance. I'm not sure how to best solve that whole problem, but it'd help to make the concept of a reply more prominent if selecting a post is the equivalent of clicking the arrow icon.

  18. import multiple slack communities at once

    I am on over 20 Slack communities. Adding each one one at a time to my mattermost apps will be slow and error prone.

    Add a way to read my config from running slack apps, and/or discover all the slack communities a given email address is a member of, and import them all at once to the Mattermost apps.

  19. Desktop Notification should allow to answer right away (Desktop App, macOS)

    On macOS, Desktop Notifications can offer a "Reply" Button in order to allow a user to answer to a message right from the received notification, which is very handy. I wish to have this feature in the Mattermost Desktop app as some of my users have used Hipchat before and they complain this feature is not available in Mattermost.
