JIRA Integration Channel Notification/Subscribe
Support all issue status update event transitions, not just only status changes when the ticket is reopened, or when resolved/closed, and assignee changes.
We use the issue status transition to trigger the QA Team to start work. Would be nice to have these notifications via the Mattermost Integration

Integration with Miro collaborative whiteboarding
Miro (https://miro.com/) is a collaborative whiteboarding system popular with (interaction) designers but also used in research and strategy planning.
Microsoft Teams allows the following events from Miro to be shown:
- invitees sign up
- board is shared with you
- there's a new comment or a reply to your comment on a board
- someone @mentions you in a comment or reply.
Source: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572514-Microsoft-Teams
It would be nice to have a similar integration in Mattermost.

Send E-Mail using Slash Command
We are using a e-mail-based ticket system (e.g., ticketsupport@company-name.org). As most of our communication switched to Mattermost, the only remainder is writing mails to create a ticket.
Therefore, it would be really convenient to send a e-mail using something like:
/[mail-address] ["Subject"] ["Body"]
The from address is the address used by Mattermost.6 votes -

Support embedding a channel in a web page
Collaborative apps would greatly benefit from reusing a robust and mature chat system, instead of reimplementing a shitty one (think Google Meet's side chat). It would be great if Mattermost could allow an existing channel (or a newly-created one) to be embedded inside an iframe that communicates with the host window e.g. via postMessage or similar mechanism.

Add Mumble/Murmur voice integration.
Add Mumble/Murmur voice integration.
Murmur is the server component of Mumble, and is lightweight, with highly configurable options and good encryption and voice quality. I think it could really be a powerful voice integration to consider, as it has an easier to use interface than say, Jitsi. Voice inside mattermost would make it a Discord killer imho.

Design a plug-in that can be configured to send specific hashtag comments to certain channels.
Comments with specific hashtags will be sent to specified channels.
Example: #Outage could be sent to a general user notification channel as well as an administrators channel.
Example: A reference to a specific program release in a developer chat could be sent to to a project-specific QA chat.3 votes -
Allow integrations to add buttons to ios / adroid interface
While the desktop and browser interface have integrations buttons in the top right corner (Zoom / Jitsi), this is not available for the Android/iOS versions.
While / commands work (/jitsi) it is not intuitive for new users.Suggestion is to allow adding a icon next to the / icon in the interface.

There are other open-source kanban applications besides Trello. I'd like it if there were other integrations.

PivotalTracker Integration
as a Project Manager/ Product Owner we need integration with Pivotal Tracker Project Management tool as follows, If Possible
- At certain time in the morning, developer get lists of task ID, task type (feature, bug, chore), person who write task, and summaries description about task were assigned to them
- Developer can update task by fills in data like Task ID #xxxx, Status, Comment. (if Task Status equal Deliver, developer can fill Pull request / Branch)
- Developer get notified if someone mentioned them in the Task Comment, and they can reply the comment (developer can view task ID and some description)

Customize the BOT tag
Especially for incoming webhooks, it would be nice to override the BOT tag text that is shown on every message. This would allow (for instance) integrations to post to a channel as a user in the external system with the name of the system shown instead of BOT, e.g.:
someguy IRC: hello
or
myusername JIRA: issue comment
There would still be a visual indication that the username is associated with an integration and may not be an actual user, but the word BOT isn't always the best description of what's happening.
