    Is it that interactive "links" in webhook integrations aren't supported in Mattermost that is preventing you from adding the "/remind" functionality?

    Thanks for the feedback! When you mean closing current channel, do you mean leaving it, or removing it from your channel list?

    Thanks for the suggestion! If you didn't already do so, can you help download the latest version (v4.1.2) from https://about.mattermost.com/download.

    The latest release clears cache every 6 hours to help reduce memory usage. Would love to hear if this helps cover your suggestion.

    Thanks for the feedback Leon! We plan to add this to the user interface.

    In the meantime we have this command line tool for admins. Would this work as a workaround? https://docs.mattermost.com/administration/command-line-tools.html#platform-channel-restore

    We're aiming to provide the ability for silent deployment with the next desktop app release, tentatively scheduled for mid-December.

    We're also tracking this feature proposal for adding an MSI installer for the Windows client.

    We'd love to add this feature. We're currently exploring a LibreOffice plugin using our plugin framework: https://developers.mattermost.com/extend/plugins.

    Would there be any interest from the community to help with a LibreOffice plugin?

    Thanks everyone for the feedback on this! At the moment, server side encryption is not planned because it would prevent features such as search from working, which we consider to be core features of Mattermost (it was designed to be a searchable history of message archives). However it is possible to set up disk encryption manually if you need it.

    For anyone upvoting the feature, can you please share more additional details about your use case? Is the goal to have all channels and messages encrypted, but non-searchable?

    Mattermost has a feature to "Favorite" channels, including 1-1 and group channels - does this describe what you are looking for?

    Hi there, the "message deleted" status message does show when somebody deletes a message - however, the status message is not permanent and disappears when you log out. Would you suggest that the status message should be permanent?

    Group Direct Messaging is a feature that might be similar to what you're requesting. You can create a group of up to 7 participants by clicking on "More..." at the foot of the direct message channels and then searching for and adding participants. Is this something that would help?
