Hide preview
Having the ability to preview (for example) inline .gifs is amazing. But they can also be distracting at times. Having the ability to hide preview would be great.

I'm planning on working on this. It's similar to https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/PLT-1249, but I believe that one refers to the person who sent the message removing the preview, and that change propagating to all users who then receive the message.
From a design standpoint, how should this be implemented? Slack has a disclosure triangle after the link itself, so that you can show it again if necessary. I was thinking of this being on a per-message basis so that embeds of any type can be toggled.
