    This has improved a bit since they added mmctl. You can delete posts + attachments and users permanently.

    Include slash commands with that. The docs at https://docs.mattermost.com/developer/bot-accounts.html say "Only user accounts can create and configure webhooks and slash commands." which misses half the potential benefit of bot accounts.

    My current solution to this (on a non-enterprise install) is to set "Notifications > Enable Email Notifications" to "false" in the System Console. Absurd but the only secure option.

    Only for Enterprise Edition and both tickets on Atlassian are closed.
    Insecure by default is pretty poor form, @mattermost.org
