    I consider it a much needed feature.

    Personally I don't consider this feature to be that important.
    But the lack of it becomes one more argument for those who support other solutions.
    I consider that incorporating this feature is a strategic decision for Mattermost.

    The size of the header is very important if you use it.
    For example, in my organization we place toolbars written in Markdown and we could really use a larger size.

    Hello

    There are several suggestions like this one that propose improvements in the ability to format messages.
    I believe that several of these suggestions could be implemented by incorporating a markdown parser that supports basic html.
    While this is certainly not purist, from a practical point of view it is very useful.
    Another advantage of this approach is that it falls back to something standard that many people are familiar with.

    Tasks such as coloring text (Majid):
    <color = green>green</color>.
    or coloring the background:
    <div style="background-color: #FFFFFFF0" markdown="1">
    Ivory background
    </div>
    become relatively trivial.

    Greetings,
    Claudio
