Personally I don't consider this feature to be that important.
But the lack of it becomes one more argument for those who support other solutions.
I consider that incorporating this feature is a strategic decision for Mattermost.

This plugin seems to work okay in desktop app (Win) and in mobile if mattermost is used by modern browser. So could this plugin be a part of official native software also in mobile apps some how?

I support this, but if the voice message can also be transcribed when recorded and the transcription added as an option, even better. Or that a user can automatically transcribe a voice message easily on the receiving end as an option, perhaps best.

I agree it would be great to have the possibility of sending voice messages from the mobile or desktop apps

It would be most helpful if you could record a voice message directly from the desktop app.
