Team icon
Ability to upload a team icon, and show it on the team select page.
Also, it would be nice to show them on the desktop app tabs.

It's great this feature was implemented. When a feature is implemented, would it be possible to get a link to the documentation that shows how to implement it?

At the moment there is no way to remove a team icon, however we have a ticket open here for our engineers to add that feature: https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-10112

Yes please! For org level positions, having to be part of many teams at once makes differentiating them a pain with text only (truncated to fit the small squares). Team icons would improve this and give a little space for the team to express its personality.

It would definitely be a great addition. When you've several teams it's pretty difficult to quickly distinguish them.
It also provides a nicer look & feel to the app, more visual and less "texty".

I have 2 teams that start with the same 2 letters and several more that start with the same initial letter. With only two letters of the team showing in the sidebar disambiguating these is profoundly obnoxious. A team icon would greatly speed visual recognition here.

MS Teams and Slack allow this, it would be nice if MM did as well
