Add option to bounce icon in OS X dock for notification, in addition to or instead of the current notification system.
There should be a setting allowing the user to specify that they want the mattermost dock icon to bounce upon a notification. It should remain bouncing until the application is brought to the front again by the user.
Ideally, they could also choose to have it only bounce on mentions.
Thank you Mike for nominating the feature! MetalCar contributed the improvement for version 1.3.
Would you be open to retweeting the announcement and thanking the contributor (https://twitter.com/mattermosthq/status/758606758650777600)?

@jasonblais Thanks for the quick response. I should have been more clear in my initial post... I'm not certain that the MetalCar patch only works for Windows notifications; it's just that the Github PR that was being addressed (https://github.com/mattermost/desktop/issues/39) was for a Windows feature and MetalCar made this comment:
"I only tested it on windows, since I doesn't own a macOS or linux distribution."Are you on macOS? Can you confirm the bouncing dock icon is not working for you?

Good point Dan: I've opened a ticket directly in the desktop repo to add the option for OS X as well. https://github.com/mattermost/desktop/issues/514

Can this feature request be re-opened? The patch added Windows taskbar notifications, not the requested OS X bouncing-dock-icon notifications.
