Please add this feature to mobile app:
https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost-mobileOr, at least provide a draft estimation about adding this feature to mobile app.
We at https://sandinh.com have migrated from Slack to Ryver, then now want to migrate to Mattermost because of this feature.
Thank you!

Hey, wow, I'm impressed! Thank you and (y)(y) :-D

Thanks for the feedback!
Brandon: By enabling the emoji picker, you'll also be able to react to individual posts with it. If you have Mattermost 3.8 or later, give it a try! :)
Zak: This is considered for the second-generation mobile apps that are currently in Beta: https://about.mattermost.com/a-native-mobile-experience-second-generation-mobile-apps-released-in-beta/

I've enabled this on my desktop app, but it doesn't seem available in the android app. Is there a timeline for the phone app roll out?

This is great, but as others have said, what we're really looking for is the ability to react to a specific post. Think of the "Like" button on Facebook. This could be used for many things, including having a team vote on ideas, or just to express emotion concern a specific post.

Reactions are great but can only be appended to a conversation. That is, they appear inline within a thread and don't allow me to react to a specific message once a reply has been posted. I'd like the ability to react to a specific message or reply no matter where it appears within a conversation.

Emoji Reactions is the one thing preventing my team from committing fully to using Mattermost for our daily work life. I'm crossing my fingers hoping it gets into a future build soon!

Updated to planned, thanks!
