iOS and Android apps should allow multiple server connections
right now in the iOS app if you setup an instance I do not see a way to setup another one and seeing as how the current architecture of the product is, I would need multiple servers for my org's needs. the app should be able to handle it as well.
The Mobile v2.0 beta featuring multi-server support is now live!
Our most-requested mobile feature ever is now live via the Mobile v2.0 beta - thanks to everyone who has upvoted this feature! Users must opt-in to become testers via Testflight (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the “Mattermost Beta” app. Please note that this is a separate app from the production “Mattermost” app that exists in the app stores today, meaning you can use both at the same time.
Take a look at our recent blog post for full instructions on how to join the beta program, and feel free to provide any feedback you have directly in the feature channel.

Yes. Pretty much a must feature for this to spread.

What's the cost for the development for such a feature?
So, we can bet a certain amount of money to be collected for it's development! :-)
I would fundraise that

It's a fundamental feature to have support for multi server, I am actually stack in not being able to partecipate from mobile to 3 different communities (because they run independent servers), while with Slack I participate to 8 different communities in parallel.
Mattermost is definitively not providing the same collaboration features as slack without this.

We sorely need this.

Yep, need a multiple server mobile app, just like the desktop one!

Hi, our greater corporate team has started using Mattermost, and it's great. But as a team we like to keep our own server running for segmentation purposes. We like that the desktop app supports multiple servers, and it would be great if the mobile client did as well so that we can keep using the same platform as our corporate teams.

Hum, nice tool :) But we still need a multiple server mobile app, like for the desktop one. It's so crazy for me that it's not considered as a main issue.

Yeah, we still have the same problem here, we have a lot of no go to switch to Mattermost because of that particular issue.

Yes, I advocate Mattermost to many people as a replacement for Slack. As a consequence I am now use many mattermost domains due to the various projects Im associated with that have made the switch. However, almost all the people I know now are coming back to me with this limitation as being a regretful showstopper... please fix!

A strong requirement for us, hoping it will get implemented soon.

Nope, for the moment my only solution is to have the "classic" app installed (the old one) the beta of the new one and the released new one. So I can be connected on the 3 servers that the 3 associations I'm member are using.

I don't see any possibility to use multiple servers in the new beta app, do you?

Same vote would also go up for the mobile app

Just for that feature alone I would have loved to give 100 votes at once

Maybe with the new beta app?
