add previews for PDF attachments
When you attach JPEG or PNG images to a comment, a preview thumnail is generated. This helps a lot when scanning through messages and makes the channels pleasant to look at.
At the moment, PDF attachments show only a generic PDF logo, so all PDF attachments look alike!
It would be really nice if preview thumbnails could be generated for PDF attachments. Usually the first page of the PDF is used for this purpose.

I am running the current version of Mattermost. When I upload a PDF within a post via Integromat (coming from a Gmail email) I am not able to preview - only to download.
When I upload a PDF normally into a channel and post it, I can preview it ...
Why is there a distinction? I would like to have both within a preview window ...
