    This is the one feature we thought wasn't going to be critical but ended up in hours of custom API work. The community is now relying on 3rd-party solutions that require several hoops to jump through.

    We more-often-than-not used emojis for feedback in Slack.
    Since switching to MAttermost, our internal engaement has dramatically decreased, likely due to 2 seemingly "silly" but important features... emoji feedback/notifications, and a decent gif plugin.
