Notify Modified Messages And Added Reactions
There should be an option to allow MM to send notifications wheneven user modifies a message or maybe even when a message is deleted.
Also you be great to have anotification wheneven someone adds a reaction to your message.

I'm also looking for such feature. We use reactions to simplify our communication, but it's important the sender get some feedback.

Implementing this feature is pivotal. I am surprise it's not implemented and there's no plugin for it anywhere. It must be possible to view list of reactions to your messages in an aggregated list, just like in the other products. We've been doing this for years to use reaction to acknowledge the reading of the message with a mention, that's a pivotal communication protocol for distributed teams.

I am puzzled to find this feature not implemented. In our organization it is common to comment action and proposals with emoticons as an efficient way of kind-of-voting. (Like in other messengers) actually you have to remember and check back for reactions. A notification system would change this for the better.

Notifications for reactions are crucial in my opinion.

I support the orignal poster's idea. I personally, as my highest priority, am interested in notifications for reactions to one's messages.
It'd be useful to have some sort of way to know about the emoji-reactions people have issued to posts of mine. One way is just the option to enable another notification that's in the same style as for messages.
Another way to do it is have something on the sidebar that's like the "Threads" item in Slack (I'm assuming you have this too -- I'm just new to Mattermost so I don't know yet). Except it's called Reactions instead of Threads, and when you click on it, it shows you (just like Threads does) all of messages that have had reactions, in chronological order of most recent reaction. And maybe it lists the names of folks explicitly next to each reaction type, so you don't have to hover over each emoji to see who did it. And the list of names also is in some kind of chronological order.
