    There was a recent rework of the Andoid app UI, adding multiples buttons near the message field, but alas no emoki picker button was among them.
    I don't need a separate button for files _and_ images (images _are_ files...), nor a button to save me typing @, but I do need the emoji picker to search for rarely used emoji the code of which I do not know...

    This seems to be already implemented, at least for the thumbs-up :) Tested on the webclient MM5.26.0 and the Android app 1.37.0

    There has been a GIF picker available since MM 5.1. Although it's marked as beta and is not activated by default, it works well. It uses GIFs from Gfycat.
