Boards on mobile
It would be great to have access to MM boards on the mobile app, integrated with my existing boards on the desktop and web app. This would allow users to view and update their board tasks from their Boeing Phone, when not logged into our laptop.

Like everyone else we could really really use this feature on mobile.

The mobile app has no inherent value past a basic messaging app without this feature. It would set you apart from competitors by an Amish mile (soo long).. stretch your arms as far as you can ..that's how big

Absolutely, having access to MM (I assume this refers to some sort of task or project management boards) on the mobile app that is integrated with existing boards on the desktop and web app can greatly improve productivity and flexibility. Users can view and update their tasks on the go, which is especially useful for those who travel frequently or are often away from their desks.

Having access to MM boards through the mobile app, seamlessly integrated with existing desktop and web boards, would indeed be a fantastic addition. This would empower users to efficiently manage their tasks from their mobile devices, ensuring productivity even when away from their laptops.
The ability to view, update, and synchronize tasks across platforms would offer flexibility and convenience. It's a feature that aligns perfectly with the demands of modern work scenarios, where constant connectivity and adaptability are key. Such integration would undoubtedly enhance user experience and boost productivity on the go. Here's to hoping for this exciting enhancement to the app! 📱✨

Mirroring the general sentiment amongst the comments.
I think the lack of the Boards on mobile creates unnecessary friction when updating/accessing information in the system, making it difficult to fully commit to the overall ecosystem.

I was planning to switch my international NGO with around 150 users to mattermost. Just noticed that the mobile app doesn’t allow accessing boards. That’s pretty much a deal breaker for us and I think until this changes we’ll use different tools.

Our team just started using Boards, and being able to use it on the mobile app will be very crucial.

If i could have only one change ever, this would 100% be it! While my team works some of the time in the office at a desktop workstation, we spend a lot of time on mobile devices, and the ability to update boards when out and about would be a huge productivity boost!

Hi, we have just started to use mattermost in our team and I am really missing the possibility to see and edit boards from phone, so it would be great if this feature would be added :) Please :)

This would be so helpful for me and my team. We recently started using the boards and are really missing the feature in the app.
We do not always have the possibility of having the laptop with us so being able to keep the team up to date on what is going on with a specific task would be a great addition. Since now we talk on the phone or send messages and that often leads to the boards being out dated and missing information. -

Was hoping the boards would have been on there off to Xcode to figure out something

We are just starting with MM. Especially the calendar function in the boards are used by our back-office.
So, yes, it would be great to have the function in the APP :) -

I literally signed up just to up vote this and used 3 of my votes.
I run a FinTech Software Engineering firm and I can say from experience - having boards on the mobile app would be a game changer for MM and its users.
According to some projections the PM software market value is expected to hit over $15B by 2030!
I could see my company (and many others) leaving Jira for MM with some tweeks to the frontend (UI/UX) and Boards in mobile.
This is a huge missed opportunity for MM IMHO.
I hope the MM team will give this due consideration.
Please feel free to message me if I or my company could be of assistance.

In my opinion it is logic to use board(task management) and messenger in on application. It's very productive to communicate and to assign or check your tasks from one application. I think a lot of people will use mattermost instead of trello because both functionality integrated in on app (messaging and tasks manager )

Thank you for your suggestion about integrating MM boards on the mobile app. We understand that it could be helpful to have access to your boards on the go, and we will certainly consider adding this feature.
However, it is important to note that the mobile app is designed primarily for reading and updating death notices you can check here https://rip-notices.com/, not for creating and editing tasks. If you would like to use the app to manage your boards, we recommend using the desktop or web app. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

This is really important to us since many of our team members prefer using mattermost through their mobile app. Please invest developer capacities in this feature!
