Blacklist certain file types from being uploaded to Mattermost
Sample use case: Block .exe files from being uploaded to prevent malicious executables from being downloaded.
In addition to .exe, also interested in blocking PDF files and compressed files.

Any update on this DEVs is this high on your priority list (this or next year)?
We just noticed that .exe files are stored and our IS killed the usage of the MM app. Months of preparation down the drain. Would be nice to know if we can expect it to be used again. Cheers -

Our users find it very useful to be able to share screenshots, etc. but we'd like to prevent them transferring any other file types.
Please add the ability to allow/block certain file types.

This feature may be required by my InfoSec team. It is certainly a security best practice that should be implemented.

from an it-security perspective this is a must-have feature.
