Use different color for nicknames
Using various colors for nicknames improves readibility a lot!

This feature request imo is a bit misguided (mis-titled)
It should really be renamed to
> In compact mode use a consistent distinct color palette for nicknames
I would not recommend changing anything in default mode, the colors are a distraction. Slack do not do this.
Kind of makes sense this kind of got lost.

Riot(matrix) uses this and it helps a lot in compact mode, mattermost should implement it too.

This is especially important for compact mode where you lose the gravatar.
