    This is especially important for compact mode where you lose the gravatar.

    I think this should be collapsed into https://mattermost.uservoice.com/forums/306457-general/suggestions/31576528-use-different-color-for-nicknames which appears to be the same idea with more votes.

    We are currently looking at bringing the features of the Wrangler plugin into the core product to solve the use cases of:

    1. Moving a message or thread to another channel
    2. Attaching a message to an existing thread
