iOS and Android apps should allow users to bypass certificate warning
iOS and Android apps should allow users to bypass certificate warning. Some of us don't have proper certs and use the application for small teams, and don't have the resources to get proper web certificates.

i just bought a 3 year wildcard cert for my domain for $150. Is there any biz that really can't afford that?

@"Haus Interactive": Let's Encrypt instead of self-signed certificates is how it is supposed to be done. https://letsencrypt.org/how-it-works/
Certificate warnings should be taken seriously. No bypassing, please!

I think a better idea would be to integrate Let's Encrypt or even just offer steps to configure it. Personally that's what we use for our server, easy to configure in nginx.

Seconded. The entire point of a self-hosted platform is to self-serve. This will frequently also mean self-signing of certs!
Additionally, accepting of our own certs in Safari/iOS does not seem to carry over into this app.
