    This is an excellent idea; something that Jabber does that we appreciate in the office. Sometimes our headset isn't on and a SIP call or IM comes through that we wouldn't have otherwise known about. Since Jabber has an option to play notification sounds to all output devices, we can also hear the notification through our speakers.

    I'm on board with gubbins suggestion of having it loop once or twice, then maybe getting a "GIF" circle, or play button, over it if you want to watch it again.
