The suggestion of adding a custom status scheduling feature to Mattermost is a great idea. As several users have pointed out in the comments, this feature would be extremely useful for those who work remotely or have flexible schedules.

Being able to set a custom status in advance, with a specific start and end time, would allow users to communicate their availability and schedule with their team members. It would also help to reduce interruptions and allow for more focused work time.

I think this feature would be a valuable addition to Mattermost and would make it even more useful for remote teams. It's great to see that the Mattermost team is considering this suggestion and taking user feedback into account. I look forward to seeing this feature implemented in the future.

In the Slack we were able to schedule DnD (Notifications) so users in not working time had small sleep icon with status mark. It was enough for understanding that it is not working hours in his schedule. With Mattermost this is not possible to achieve.

Critical important feature for remote teamwork, waiting for adding :)

Will be great to have
- scheduling custom statuses (working hours, vocations, lunches, ... day sleep times, etc)
- Google Calendar integrations, meetings, events
- would be great to have Clockify integrations as well ('working on task...')

I agree, when I start working I usually head straight into the actual work, and somewhere around lunch time I realize that I forgot to set my Mattermost status to indicate if I'm working from home or working at the office. It would be great if it could be scheduled, but then also changed if it turns out that I'm out sick or caring for sick children today, without it interfering with the schedule.
