Text-to-speech accessibility support for at least one client interface if not all
The Mac OS/X Desktop Client for Mattermost has never supported text-to-speech with would make my interaction as a low vision (legally blind) user much easier. Until recently, I was able to at least get that functionality in the web-based interface with Chrome but that is also no longer working. I can't even set up the iphone app because the first step of entering the server is incompatible with Voice Over. If I was totally blind, I couldn't use the application at all. The only reason I use it is for work as my employer has adopted it as our enterprise wide messaging service. Not sure if Mattermost has access-ability suppor for Microsoft Windows or not since I only use that platform at home presently and have not tried out Mattermost there. I would really appreciate this functionality. This web form supports it so I'm not sure that there is any particular trick to it unless the text is rendering as images rather than text. AI Squared Zoomtext is the software I use for accessibility on my Mac for work in case that information is helpful. Thanks you!
