Add a Windows universal app so that Windows 10 Mobile rollouts can use Mattermost
Let's go Windows Universal with this, and bring Mattermost to a whole new market of Windows 10 Mobile users who're waiting for first party apps for apps just like this. Then Mattermost truly becomes a Slack competitor.

I suppose the React Native app could be used to create an universal Windows app: https://www.microsoft.com/developerblog/2016/05/26/creating-universal-windows-apps-with-react-native/

The Windows Desktop Universal Bridge is not a valid option. It allows apps to be in the store but does not work for mobile. Mobile apps must be true UWP apps.

Yes please, or at least someone show me the way on how to help contribute this, or show me the way for a 3rd party app API (if any).

Hell yes. As an avid windows phone user, an app is very important to me. Please make this happen.

I'm incredibly interested in this. the only thing stopping me from switching from Slack to Mattermost is the lack of a WP10 App.

with universal app it would even be on a market where slack is not: continuum... It's the actual problem my company has with slack...

Possibly we can use DesktopAppConverter to create UWP app. However the current app is built with Electron which supports only win32 platform. So probably the new application would be needed for mobile platform.

It is the last mobile application Mattermost needs to cover most of the devices on the market.

This shouldn't even be difficult to do, you simply go through and use the iOS Bridge (Project Islandwood) or the Windows Desktop - Universal Bridge to autoconvert the existing apps and wham, Bob's your uncle
