Different user roles to configure
As of now there are only two: 1. Admin 2. Member
Admin, would like to make someone "Manager" who can create private groups but can't delete one. Regular "Member" will not be able to create private groups or channels.

I'm looking for a way to make a channel read-only mode, except for admins or a group role. This may be a solution.

This is very important for what I'm planning to do with Mattermost.
I want to have an open server where anyone can join, but not having this option will allow users to grief easily by spamming create and delete channels.

Yes there should be a lower "participating" only role. Eg. Member should not be allowed to create Group or Channels. As it is, everyone can create... it is a mess...
