    Also, this is a mission critical feature for us, and will prevent us from adopting Mattermost if we cannot lock this feature down -- I have seen others comment the same.

  2. Restore should be in Team edition or Channel delete in Team edition should be permanent

    From the CLI documentation, use the platform binary in <installpath>/bin/

    $> platform channel restore {channels}
