Allow viewing who reacted to a post in the mobile app
When viewing reactions in the mobile app it doesn't appear to be possible to view who made each reaction. On the web and desktop app you can hover over the reactions to see who made them.

iOS and Android apps should allow multiple server connections
right now in the iOS app if you setup an instance I do not see a way to setup another one and seeing as how the current architecture of the product is, I would need multiple servers for my org's needs. the app should be able to handle it as well.
1,175 votesThe Mobile v2.0 beta featuring multi-server support is now live!
Our most-requested mobile feature ever is now live via the Mobile v2.0 beta - thanks to everyone who has upvoted this feature! Users must opt-in to become testers via Testflight (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the “Mattermost Beta” app. Please note that this is a separate app from the production “Mattermost” app that exists in the app stores today, meaning you can use both at the same time.
Take a look at our recent blog post for full instructions on how to join the beta program, and feel free to provide any feedback you have directly in the feature channel.

Really native iOS app
Current iOS and Android (i heard) are hybrid apps (web app encapsulated to native app by something like Cordova) what means UI is not perfectly integrated with OS what means at least worse UX.
Do you plan to make app with really native UI (native in Cocoa or React Native)?
4 votesThis is now supported! You can download our new mobile apps here https://about.mattermost.com/download/#mattermostApps
They have been built based on React Native. For the source code, see https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost-mobile

Implement emoji picker for iOS (same as already implemented for reactions)
A lot of our team members ask for this feature, as using iOS system emoji keyboard leads to ??? on other platforms. Would be really helpful to have an iOS emoji picker in the same style which is already implemented for reactions. The current system (typing : and emoji name) is not really working, especially for new team members.

Support Gitlab login on 2nd gen iOS app
Please support logging in with Gitlab in the new 2nd gen iOS app.
16 votesGitLab login should be supported with 2nd generation mobile apps for server v3.10+.
We’re looking into reports of it not working on some devices, if you’re having issues can you provide more details here to help us track it down?

AppConfig support
AppConfig is a MDM management method for third part application.
It allow IT team in charge of device management to preconfigure company's apps according to internal needs.
Regarding Mattermost, this is needed to preset server URL + User ID. Like that end user only have to enter their password.
Better user experience for the end user and less work for the help desk.
3 votesThank you Yoann Gini for nominating the feature! It is available in Mattermost 4.2.

Mute specific channels in app / more granular control of notifications
I have some channels that I just don't care about if I'm away from my desk and on my mobile (e.g. a channel that Hubot posts RSS feeds into). Ideally I'd like the ability to see all my channels and have granular control over notifications, so I could select something like:
"System Alerts" channel: notify desktop and mobile
"RSS" notify desktop only
"Off-Topic" no notifications43 votesThis feature was shipped with v4.5 on December 16th.

Remove the toolbar when sending message (the "Done" button is not necessary)
When writing a message you have a "done" button next to the input field.
Clicking that closes the keyboard.I would rather see that it sends the message (stolen from other apps such as message, slack, whatsapp and many more)
