Yes, I would like to see a notification in a channel when a comment is created, updated or deleted on a specific JIRA issue and also when an issue is transitioned.
To provide some background in terms of a use-case scenario, we currently have a 'Priority Support' channel set up in Mattermost which will post a notification to the channel when a priority support issue is created in JIRA Service Desk.
This is great because we are notified instantly when a priority support issue has come in so we can jump on it quickly. Unfortunately, we do not see any additional updates as it progresses. It would be so helpful if we could at least be notified when public comments are added, either by our Support team or the customer. This keeps the Support team in the loop and we can quickly assess further action required without having to periodically check our inbox or JIRA Service Desk queues.
Is this a quick-win i.e. fairly straight-forward to develop? Would you accept a contribution?
