    came here to post the same idea, for the very same problem.

    its really annoying to have the chat cluttert with the very generic "default preview" one gets for github private repo/issue links.

    on the other hand, having the preview for public issues is really helpful.

    at best mattermost could figure out whether the preview beeing rendered is the githubs default preview or a more usefull one
