Display Full User Names in Mobile App (Avoid Truncating with Ellipsis)
Hi Team,
I’ve noticed that on the Mattermost mobile app (iOS), user names are often truncated and displayed as “Kim…” instead of showing the full name, even though the full name appears correctly on the web version. This makes it difficult to identify users, especially in organizations where many people have similar names.
Please enhance the mobile app UI so that full user names are always visible, or at least provide an option to expand or view the full name easily. Ideally, the display should be consistent with the web version, either by wrapping the text, allowing horizontal scrolling, or…

Provide feedback that a photo/video is uploading/processing
Currently, when a photo or video is being shared the send button will grey out, but the user isn't presented with any "progress" as to the upload, this can be a little confusing.
On the web version and uploading progress bar appears, it would be nice to make a similar feature for the mobile app1 vote -
Support Calling From Mobile Browsers
When using mobile browser (Android/Firefox) to visit a self hosted Mattermost site, it does not show the option to call. If "request desktop site" option is used on mobile browsers, the calling function is shown and works as expected. Request to add this Call option to mobile browser versions also.

Allow Self Signed Certificates From User Store
Mattermost does not trust self signed certificates imported manually by the user. When mattermost is deployed locally/LAN/VPN without access to the internet, the Android app does not work.
I suspect that it does not trust self signed certificates from the user store on Android/iOS and refuses the connection. Adding this simple feature would make the app invaluable.
Chrome on Android already trusts self signed certificates imported manually into the user store. When visiting Mattermost via IP address on the Chrome browser, it does not display any errors/warnings about the self signed certificate.

Provide a "Mark read" choice in mobile push notifications
A "Mark read" choice in push notifications about new messages, as seen in many IM apps, would be handy in Mattermost Mobile too. Currently the message can only be marked read by tapping the message to open the app (which is slow).

DoNotDisturb
Allow users to setup "on duty" time frames so they aren't constantly buzzed by the app when they are off duty. Unless a user is specifically cited.
